Everyday life has become routine. Routine has become everyday life. Think of all the things you’ll never get to experience. All the things you never get to experience because life is short. And because you didn’t notice before it was too late.

All the wonderful people you’ll never meet. All the songs you could’ve danced and sung to. All the amazing food you’ll never taste. All the countries you’ll never get to visit. All the pain you’ll miss out on. The kind of pain that makes you stronger. The pain that helps you through life. All the laughter you’ll never laugh. All the scents you’ll never get to smell. All the hugs you’ll never give. All the compliments you’ll never get. All the beautiful moments you’ll never experience. The moments we live for. Think about everything you could’ve experienced.

This is something I often think about. I get overwhelmed. The idea paralyzes me. What if I wake up one day only to notice that life has become routine. Routine has become life. It’s scary.
